I know that B&M shifters are the best shifter you can find for 240's but has anyone ever heard of the fidanza short shifters. I saw one on ebay yesterday and I can't find any info on them.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... AMEWA%3AIT

Ive never heard of them having a short shifter either. Even tho it looks like a copy of a C's short shifter, i'd go with the original.

Fidanza.... Short shifter?? Smells like a lawsuit to me. Fidanza doesn't even make SS'ers. They make flywheels and that's it.

Weeeeee!!! I guess I'm one of the few to actually own one of these. Yes Fidanza DOES make short shifters, they even have them on their website. http://www.fidanza.com/product...fters I bought one thru an authorized Fidanza dealership and have been using it for about 2 months now.

The Good: it was fairly cheap and better than stock.

The Bad: Although it really is sold by Fidanza I don't think they designed it. It's as if Fidanza is buying their shifters from some seperate company because this shifter is very similar to the ebay knockoffs only with a Fidanza label. It also seems alittle loose feeling and isn't as tight as I would like it.

So if you desperately need a new shifter for some reason (in my case the shifter that came with my transmission was chopped and rewelded) or don't have 200 to spend on the B&M unit, go with the Fidanza or some other ebay knockoff because their all basically the same.

Those short shifters of theirs have been out for over a year now.

So basically I was right, just because the company slaps a sticker on it doesn't make it legit. It probably is a Taiwanese shifter that Fidanza is passing off as their own to make more money. If they designed something with half the value of their flywheels it might be worth a F*CK.
