fiberglass eyelids

So I'm looking into buying the eyelids that I can paint to match and I read on another post that you can't paint the batmobile eyelids and would have to get the fiberglass ones off of ebay so I was wondering who on here got the ones off ebay? Can i trust them to last?

I read that they don't come with the 3m tape to put them on so where do you get that from?

and for one last question how much would y'all say it will run me to get both eyelids painted?

the guy who makes the fiberglass eyelids was on the ebid website for a long time but i think I saw him back on ebay not long ago.

i would say a fair price to paint these is around the $40-50 range, anything more is a rip-off

the ones on ebay are selling for $45, does that sound about right? so am I looking at close to $100 to get the eyelids and have them painted?

I think I might be looking at a different seller than the one you got yours from, I was reading the comments on his feedback and one person complained that the eyelids didn't come with the tape and the seller said he should have read the description.

By any chance do you happen to know the ID name of the seller you got yours from? and how much did it cost you to get yours painted?
