So i got my eyelids from the bodyshop the other day...and put them on. It seems to me that they eyelids don't quite cover the amber part. Are these how they're supposed to fit? i put them as low as i could get them. Perhaps the seller sent me wrong ones? (ebay seller: vq5speed) Ahh...i'm thinkin i should take them off and put a tint overlay instead...LBC or blacknwhite chime in if you get the chance.

Thanks

Well I can't speak for LBC, but mine fit basically like yours do. You'll get used to it eventually. The lids don't follow that line in the headlight exactly, it's supposed to follow the hood line.

Ah, thanks for the info bro. I put it on and its annoying the hell out of me...i guess once i disconnect the amber light it will look better. I guess i'll give it some time to grow on me.

Oh yea, definately man. I had that amber light disconnected even before I got my lids.

Haha, it's real easy. Dunno why you haven't done it yet. Just pop the hood and it's directly behind the headlight. You don't have to go through the wheel well for this light like you do for the turn signals.

Haha, that's funny. How did you get there? From the direction our cars are pointing? Or from the opposite direction? I drove in from the direction our cars are pointing and it was such a b****. SOoOoOOOOOooOOOO many potholes. Just a crappy road in general.

I went in the same direction as you and they are really bad. I also took a few more down the road from there, just after the the little league baseball park is at. I don't live too far from Elysian Park, it's like a 5 minute drive for me.

The eyelids follow the hoodline as said before not the chrome line. I agree its annoying because people always comment that theyre not on right or something like that but it looks better lined up with the hood maybe ill put a lil vinyl down there

I had to sand mine down so it matched the hood line better when i put mine on. Now they follow the hood line just right.

Still down not cover the orange all the way though

I don't remember it saying to specify either but in the item title it said altima coupe so id assume you got them from someone else but anyway the headlights are the same for the sedan so your good , sadly the fibreglass ones do not cover that line in the headlight but they do cover all of the amber, just the little chrome line that seperates the high/low beam and the turn signal + amber reflector

Hey all I guess I should chime in on my eyelids. The eyelids were never suppose to follow anything in the headlight. It was designed to follow the hood line. These eyelids were first made for the sedan and never offered for the coupe when it came out. I had found out later from a customer who purchased them for his coupe that they also fitted the coupe even though the internal design of the coupe headlight is different then the sedan. The angle of the headlight along the hood side is the same on the sedan and coupe so they fit both. I know alot of you want it to cover all the amber at the bottom. Myself I think a little amber slant showing looks really mean at night or with just parking lights on. Now seeing the lids on some of your cars I see I can make it alittle shorter to meet the hood better at the bottom and narrower at the top to meet the side of the hoodline better. But what nice is they can be trimmed very easily like Ricko did to his to make it fit perfectly.

Hey man, thanks for chiming in. You do make a very nice quality product. If you do alter the lids, let us know. If you need someone to try them out, im willing

Most of us unplugged the amber parking lights so they do not illuminate. Just a preference thing, looks cleaner IMO without any amber. That is also why a lot of us also change the amber turn bulbs to chrome bulbs.
