I dont know the name of the cap, I believe its called a 'pintle cap'. Anyways noticed 2 FI with cracked pintle caps, thought I saw a discussion on this a long time ago but couldnt search it out

What exactly is their purpose and their importance? Although both of them ohm damn near exact I dont want to risk selling them

I believe they have some impact on the spray pattern. I believe new caps can be purchased in the aftermarket - but not OEM. Maybe from the rebuilder... Deatsch Works?

well at 7.50 or 5 each as im selling them I think the cap+shipping is more then the FI itself. I will just stash those two away for a later day when I need them

Deatschwerks does sell them for about $1.25/ea and they ship in a padded envelope rather than Priority Mail so it won't be as expensive as you think. You boil the caps in water for a couple of minutes and they snap right on. The pintle caps on the 91Q I parted out were much more brittle (fell apart) than the caps on the 94Q with the same mileage.
