My key fob for my car was working fine until a couple of days ago but now it isn't working at all. I put in a new battery thinking that was the issue but no luck; then tried to re-code the key fob with new battery and still no luck. What do you all think is the problem?

I think that this fob is just toast...should I start my search for a new/used one?

Did you drop your keys/fob recently? I broke one once just by dropping it on the ground!
