Noticed the other day that the passenger front window stopped working (in the up position). When I push the switch, I get a click and can see the voltage drop .2 volts. I assume then the motor is trying to engage and the regulator is binding - fair assumption?

There's no diagram of the regulator replacement in the FSM, and the posts here are a little unclear. Can anyone walk me through it on the Y33 (bonus for pictures). I have the door panel off and the vapor barrier removed as well as the bracket for the arm rest. I see the 7 10mm bolts. But, from here, I'm a bit stumped. Once the 10mm bolts are removed, where from there? How do I drop the window - which I think I need to do. And then what?

Any help appreciated.

It's easier to get the regulator assembly out if you can lower the window about 1/2 way and remove the two bolts that attach it to the bottom of the window. Since you can't lower the window remove the 7 bolts you see in the door panel (yellow tees) and the whole assembly will drop down to where you can get to the 2 bolts in the bottom of the window (orange tees).

The regulator in the pic is from a 94 but I'm guessing that the Y33 is going to be very similar if not the same part. The two orange tees are the slide bar that's attached to the window bottom. The sliding assembly will be oriented vertically with the motor assembly off to the side. Motor is removed in the pic.

Good luck.
