Do we have any Final Fantasy XI players on here? I'm about to start playing again. Can anyone recommend some sites and forums for me to browse? I havent played since '04 or '05 so I would like to read up on it a bit.

I don't play this game mainly because it's all about PVE and after a while it gets very boring to me. The group system that forces people together is not fun at all since you can wait up to a day looking for a group and not get one. Another thing is that if you have not played it for 6 months they tend to delete your account and if you want to re-sub you have to go out and buy a new game(cd's and all) to play it. I heard of people going away for more than a year and have their chars still there but for me that was not the case. Each time I left and came back I had to buy the new cd's. I think i had finally said my final farewell to this game some time ago.
