FF Silvia speculation

I hope it won't come to be. Today I was at Mitsuwa Market in Costa Mesa and was browsing through the car magazines. One of them had a preview of the next silvia. It looked like a murano in front and there were pictures of the qr25de, a vq23de ?!? and get this, a picture of a ff transmission. The new silvia's drivetrain configuration was FF :wtf: :ugh: I really hope that nissan executives snap out of it SOON I'll scan pics and post them soon.

was it called the S16, kinda gold colored, like a murano on a S15 back? if so then this pic has been floating around for a LONG time. it was just a hoax. the S chassis is dead, and nissan probably wont be bringing it back.

Never say never. With the popularity of RWD, and the S-chassis in particular increasing, you never know.....

A certain other car company planned on killing the Mustang to replace it with a Probe due to lagging sales. And yet when enthusiasts complained.......

this has been argued over and over again. why would nissan bring out a car that could hurt the sales of the SER and Z? plus the cost to develop it, build a prototype, build the plant, etc. its just not something thats likely to happen with nissan.

I have to disagress with you on this one. Look at the new 04 SER Even the Spec V. The front end is no diffent then the stock non Sporty Sentra. And how many 04 SER Have you seen on the road? Non in ATL as I know of. My friend work as a sales person at the best saleing nissan dealer ship in GA. And he said no one at the dealer has sold 1 04 SER. They are saleing the 9 04 SER that they have below invoice. I think 02 is when SER came back. I only have seen about 10 on the road since it came out. And No I don't live in the Country side. Also Silvia will never hurt the sale of Z if they sale it around $16.000-23.000. I will be the first one to sign my name to Nissan to kill the SER and Bring back another Silvia/250SX?:icesangel :ylsuper. The Sentra was never design as a Sport car, it is a Family sedan with a big motor for its size.:rolleyes I am petty sure Nissan has a floor plan/Car that will fit a QR25DE with RWD that is not sold in the US.
