I found the cold pipe on eBay for more than it was worth, but I HAD to have it. The seller just got back from serving in Osaka and had a CA'ed S13 over there, and he had it made for him in Japan. It is aluminum, and VERY well made. I wish I could tell you that I would sell it to you, but since I have a great sidemount (ARC M070) I don't forsee me ever going front mount.

I totally got the wheel from a seller in Japan for $10 with hub! Killer deal if I do say so myself. I also got the Nismo oil cap for $20 from him. Gotta love an $80 savings .

i bought the same one as (needcafors13) i believe he said it was trust made pipe but the seller (hitandruncrew) never sent it to me and this is the only thing holding me back. i have the same side mount (ARC) and for some reason the SR cold pipe sits too high for my hood to close and i DONT have the rubber connector so im waiting and waiting and waiting on that to even start my car to see where im at with my swap

Oh man that sucks! Can't Sean fab you up a mild steel one to get you running? The ARC is a great peice. I rigged a sprayer off of my windshield wiper sprayer and it almost never heat soaks now in summer. Of course in winter or rainy days, there is no need for the sprayer. Who needs pressure drop, restricted radiator air flow, and tons of money for a FMIC?

I can, but I just don't have time to do so right now... p.s. I learned to TIG the other day! Damn it makes a much nicer weld than MIG. Gonna play around with aluminum in a little bit when I get my steel down. I'm building the formula SAE car at my school, so I have access to pipe benders, plasma cutters, MIG and TIG welders, CNC lathe, all sorts of fun stuffs!

isnt it just such a tease? having all that cool equipment at your beck and call, but never having the time to play with it...

yes tig welding is 100 times cleaner then mig. i just tried to weld aluminum this weekend by my third practice weld i was doing really good, fourth try was welding up my intercooler endtanks, actually came out pretty decent for my fourth try! its a little differant then weldng steel thats for sure!

YES! haha I hate it. I finally have the tools and the ability to custom fab stuff, but I'm so stressed for time its not even funny. And we're "technically" not supposed to use the school's machines and welders for *personal* projects, so I have to go in at like 1am when no one else is there if I want to weld my own stuff...

Yeah, the welds on the hotpipe that I got from Sean were pretty boogered up LOL. I ended up cutting the pipe up to replace the last bend in the hotpipe though. I forgot to take an engine pic of that before I posted...I should change that pic LOL.
