im thinking of getting one of the ssauto manifolds for my ka24de motor and i was just wondering if anyone knows if my garret T3/T04e turbo will fit under the hood w/ this manifold. let me know if anyone has experience w/ this setup.

from the turbo placement with the ss mani, it looks like you would need an on center ex. housing for it to fit. a few people just posted pics on one of these forums of that mani and turbo not fitting.

sorry man...but it looks like a tangential one. heres a pic of the fitment on ssauto w/ turbodo you have abs? if not you will be in better shape than the setup in the picture.

the etd mani is made to work with tangential housing though, if you are still shopping around.

I have the same turbo as you Dan and it doesn't fit in my S14...not even close. I also have ABS, but with or without I don't think it'll fit.

damn that sucks. does it not fit because the turbo sits up too high and the hood wont close, or is it other reasons. i do not have abs btw. anyone know of any other equal lenght manifolds in this price range <$300.

well if you dont have abs it should have a little more clearence then what is in the pic. but it would still be really close or just not fit. the problem is the mbc, as you can see in the picture.for mani's, check out the jgs and etd one. the jgs can be real cheap if you can weld or know someone that can.

your pic doesnt seem to be working. im sure i can make it all fit as long as it fits under the hood becuase i can custom make my downpipe and everything. i am using a custom tubular manifold right now that i made, but its not equal lenght and i was just wondering about the ssauto one. is the etd equal length and how much are they? i would rather have a tubular than a jgs log style.
