Hey guys, I have got a 2006 Touring 350 Z and wanted to ask a few questions real quick:1) If I get new rims for the car and I get something that is not NISMO will the place that installs them hook up the tire pressure gauge that shows up on the display?2) If I get a new exhaust system I have heard that it causes a sensor in the car to stay on all of the time, if I get a system that is not NISMO, will the place that installs the exhaust system fix that problem for me?3) I would also like to get a rear wing for the car but I am not to happy about someone drilling holes into the car to put a wing on, is there a better way to do this?

Thanks a lot for the help, I have been checking out this site for a long time now and just decided to join since it seams to have some pretty good advice on here.

I would love to reply to all this but afraid I might get some technological, mathematical jargon that none of us would understand nor want to hear or care for. Any simple straight shootin minds out there to answer this guys questions?

Does 3M Tape hold them on there pretty good? It seams like it would loose it's hold after a while?

It depends on the wheel, most non reverse lip wheels should be able to use the TPMS, alot of deep dish reverse lip wheels cannot use them with the exception of newer SSR stepped lipped wheels. There has been some people using very large clamps to hole the TPMS to the inside of the wheel.

As far as the exhaust, unless its a test pipe/cat delete, no exhaust should trigger any lights on the cluster of anykind.

It should be fine if its a light weight wing and has enough tape surface around it. 3M makes many different grades of double stick tape, anything ranging from the cheapo 2.2lb/sq in strength to the ultra strong 20lb/sq in tape and beyond.

do your self the favor of not using tape. Its no fun wishing you could run acrossed the freeway and save your $100+ wing off the street. Consider the fact that even if the tape holds 100 pounds per square inch, this wing is supposed to dirrect high flowing air and chances are the air will remove the tape.

Thank you!!! i cannot believe anyone would suggest tape. LOL... The whole purpose of a spoiler is for downforce, which is for traction, and stability. If you want a spoiler or "wing" for anything other than downforce, don't put one on your car. And if your running stock, then the stock spoiler is enough downforce for the car.
