1) why would my PS fluid look like Coca Cola? I've begun to use the ole turkey baster technique to replacing the fluid.
2) what kind of fluid goes in the TCS reservoir? And how often should it be replaced?
3) all our G50s are prewired for cell phones. But is there a way to utilize this feature with our new iPhones etc?
Just wonder'n is all.....

If your Power Steering (PS) fluid looks like Coca Cola then your in trouble. I just pulled apart a steering rack with 137K miles and it makes me glad I have a Magnefine filter in place.

Dot 3 brake fluid is OEM but Dot 4 is recommended by some.

All 1990-1996 Infiniti Q45's have a microphone, Because Nissan thought we were unworthy of a rear seat heater switch (to warm the seats for when expecting company).

1.) It's cooked. You need the type of mechanical replacement where the fluid is drained continuously through the low pressure line with a Sun or BG machine. www.bgfindashop.com Call one and discuss. Sun is distributed by SnapOn Jobbers.

3.) You're thinking there is BT or something on this car? :slap:

Will look for a flush. I wish we had bluetooth. I was actually wondering if we could somehow hardwire a phone into the car. So it would transmit through the stereo.

I like Valvoline PS fluid because it is clear. I change it by pumping from the reservoir. The color lets me know when the old fluid has been completely swapped.

The problem is it can't be completely swapped just from the reservoir. When it has changed color and thus is now gunk, it has to be continuously mechanically flushed through the rack.
