There are 2 options.
A) Take it to a shop.
Have them do a lot of work and labor and charge you a decent amount for it.
B) Do it yourself:
If you have another car to drive, and have the tools. I say you should do it. It's more gratifying and you'll get some hands on experience.
Now down to what you should do, Me personally if this happened, I would probably pull the motor and park it on an engine stand and replace 90% of the gaskets and common fail items. Such as, Front Main Oil Seal and Rear Main Oil Seal. I also at minimum as insurance would put in some Rocker Arm Stoppers, and probably honestly if I had a HG blow and I had to pull the head and i had another means of transportation. I would build a head. Solid Lifters, New Springs and Retainers and RAS's.
But that is just me. It is kind of preventive maintenance. Because what if after you get all this done you have a lifter "deflate" on you? Or have a rocker arm displace itself?
Just my thinking on this.
