I like my KA24E, its served me well. I can pick up a spare one for 50 bucks. After the maintance (its been sitting a while in a garage) I plan on the turbo route. I don't have much support local, cause everyone is stuck up the sr20's ***. Not much positive feedback, and it all ends up boiling down to someone trying to talk me into getting an sr20. I only want the 7-10 psi range. (like most people, not looking to build up the motor right now)

One of the biggest questions I was wondering was what injectors would be the best to use, with little to no modifications to the fuel rail. I've heard z32 TT's or 370cc's from sr20. Or with a little more modifications, what is your opinion on the best to use period?

I was also thinking of going with water injection to be on the safe side. Would this be over kill? I didn't think it would? The manifold will be custom from a local guy, who has been fabircating for years, and has a history of producing awesome manifolds. The rest of the things I pretty much know what I want to use.

Any help, or positive feedback is appriciated. Thanks.

the most important part of a turbo kit is management. so figure that out.neither of the injectors you suggested will fit your car. E is top feed, DE is side fide. 370cc's are side feed. I believe that skyline GTR 444's bolt in in, those would be a good choice for a 7 psi car. As for water injection, I say screw it. Run a decent intercooler and 93 octane gas and worry more about your timing and fuel management.

I forgot all about the different feeds. I don't think I could get some GTR 444's very easily(if you have the hook up or something, I would appriciated it, if I could get in on it). DSM injectors are top feed, I think? I may try those. Or I may just break down a buy some brand new aftermarket, which I don't really want to do. Yes, fuel management is important, thats why I ask what you ka-t guys recomended to keep me pumpin' the fuel I need. :)

I'm using JWT ecu, its a pretty popular choice around here.SAFC is popular on a lot of the lower boost cars, once they get above 7 psi you will see it supplemented with msd BTM and other boxes, and by then you have enough money in it that you could have went with greddy emanage (which a lot of people are having problems with) or a secret services or jwt ecu...only thing is those aren't adjustable.

Yeah, I'm looking to get by with the SAFC. This car is the daily driver. The other motor I am getting will be the "monster". It's a shame to not take advantage of all this torque. From what I know of there are only a handful (if that many) ka-t's in Louisville. Everyone else is sr20. I know of one guy for sure, Spoolpigion or something like that, hes on here also, but hes from e-town, about 20 mins from Lou. Thanks for the advice, info, ect. I searched, but after about 6 pages, I was cross-eyed from reading, haha.

s13coupe90, just so u know CA18DET injectors are 370cc's and top feed, it might be a little cheaper and easier to find and buy than it is 440cc skyline injectors, i think to use DSM (eclipse) 440cc injectors u have to bore the fuel rail out a little bit, i know some people have tried it

You would need to upgrade the injectors to flow more fuel, more air needs more fuel. I'd go ahead and get a high flowing fuel pump, like a walbro 255. BOV, some people say you don't need it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, get a BOV (blow off valve). The header, or also called exhaust manifold, is what makes the turbo spool, you will have to have one custom made, or get one from a place called JGY customs, since the turbo is ran off exhaust, it is mounted to the manifold. As for fuel management you would need to get JWT ecu, or you could go a little cheaper, and get an safc. You should be alright with the safc. I could have possibly left something out, because I'm very tired.
