Hey guys, i just have a couple questions in regard to possibly getting new wheels for my car. 98 s14, i currently have eibach pro kit and kyb agx with 18x8 +40..i like the way the wheels look, just the size suck. I also have Z brakes.

So the wheels i'm looking at right now are 17x9, i believe +24 and the rears are 17x10.5 +26...how would those fit? Also would i need to roll the fenders or anything of that sort? If i buy coilovers in the near future would these wheels still fit or would i be sol?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may need a spacer to clear coils in the front. I had 7.5 +32, and it was ultra close for me. By a quick estimation, you might need something like 9 +10 to clear coils in the front. I am not 100% sure of that number, and is just a guess, so noone hold me to it.

17x9 +24 17x10.5 +26 would fit waaaaaaaay better than your 18x8 +40's..

as far as your fenders, I'd advise you to roll your fenders... I don't think the offsets are that agressive enough to where you need to roll your fenders, but it also depends if you decide to stretch your tires or if you go with the correct size.

oh and btw, you should be okay with the coils...my buddy had 7" +0 up front, and it cleared fine... so 9+24 should be okay...

I'd just get some spacers for uber flushness... lol... but thats just me.

haha, yea i know my +40 is fail, but they look good, lol..anyway, i'm trying to stay away from the stretched look, i want them to sit nice and flush for that wide agressive look, maybe eve keep the 17's up front and go with 18's out back with some weld racing wheels with some drag radials, that would be nice...

Anyway, also what size tires would you recommend?

you said no stretch right?

235/50 up front and 245/50 in rears (maybe even 255/50 in the rears)

50 aspect ratio? hes talking 17s, not 15s

from the sizes id bet theyre mustang wheels

if you dont want a stretch you might be looking at spacers to clear, s14s have more clearance than s13s both inside and out, but youll have to see if you use it up

no stretch id go with 245/45 front 275/40 rear
