Hey guys I'm new to this forum as I just bought a new 04' G35 this weekend I had a few questions, I think the dealership has the owners manual at the shop and I've had dealer plates on since Saturday, and I had a few questions I was hoping I could clear up before I go back there tomorrow to sign the papers. First off the brights in my car. When I turn the brights on my interior lights go off, it seems like there might be 2 settings for brights, however both settings do not operate with my interior lights on. Is there a way I can fix this? (or get the dealership to fix). Last question is the light with a ! then \/\/\/ underneath is lit, what does that mean? I figure I'll get the guys at the shop to take a look at everything before I fully return the car.

Thanks,

The VVV ! light is your tire pressure warning light, meaning one or more of your tires are low.

You have two settings for your brights? And when you say your interior lights go off, you mean they come on or what? Or do you mean when you turn your headlights on (which have two settings--low beams and high beams, high beams are referred to as brights) your dash lights get really dim?

If it is the latter case, there is a dimmer switch by your left knee. Turn that sucker up.

Thats awesome, that actually makes sense why when im hitting any bumps its pretty loud.. lol

and as for the light issue, I know for a fact I didn't want to touch anything down there until I signed the papers, so I'll give that a shot tomorrow, I have a feeling its all the way turned off (lever by my knee).

Last question is... for the analog clock thats in the dash, is there anyway to have it lit? Can't tell the time in the car when its dark

Yeah, I would put money on it and double down that your dimmer switch is way down. As for the clock, that'll light up with the rest of your dash lights when you turn the dimmer switch up.
