cause im stumped, ive had a few issues since i got the swap running 4 months ago. most of them ive ironed out but there are still a few that bug me
one is a wiring issue, to get my ignition relays to come on i had to run a wire from the the ignition wire and ground it on the body? thats the only way they would come on, any ideas?
two, for some reason the battery gets a really really weak charge, i put a new ka alt. on it but it still doesnt charge that well. the safc says it gets 12-13 volts at peak. maybe is just the battery?
and now on to the biggest problem, the car tends to cut out randomly and its starting to happen a lot more. what will happen is that all power is lost,i have to kick pumping the gas pedal to keep the car running, then after a little bit it corrects itself and runs fine. it happens on start up sometimes too. ill sit there and crank it for 5 mins sometimes till it starts. i was thinking maybe the cas is going bad but i also never replaced the plugs when i got the motor and i dont think its the coils cause it has spitfire coilpacks and they dont look that old.
any ideas?
