The previous owner did a pretty descent job numbering the plugs when he pulled the motor, but there is a few more lines and plugs I have NO Idea where they go. Ill post more pictures tomorrow, but offhand I have one, and a few questions. Which plugs are needed for the transmission, theres a rats nest of wires and plugs, theres nothing plugged into the alternator, just one wire to the back to the battery in the hatch of the car, theres this plug Theres two plugs coming out of the coil? On the passenger fender well, and theres a few wires about 3 foot long, that don't really go anywhere, they're green, grey and black, spliced into the main harness. Sorry if these details don't help much, tomorrow I'll grab as many pictures as possible.

assuming you are serious, you will need to put up quite a bit more information than that.

It looks like a s13 blacktop into an s13? Was the car originally manual or did you convert it? You may want to see if you can make your question a little more understandable. It sounds like you need a lower harness. You can use the one off of another 5 speed DOHC. The lower harness will plug into the starter, the oil pressure sensor, the alternator, and the speed sensor and transmission etc.

Lets start it this way, Ill show you a picture, tell you as much as I know about it, You ridicule me for a few minutes and then help =)? http://img18.imageshack.us/img...n.jpgPassenger Side Firewall.. Ground? Goes where?http://img14.imageshack.us/img...h.jpgPassenger Side Firewall.. 3 Wires.. About 3 foot long.. Any idea or need to know colors?http://img21.imageshack.us/img...e.jpgPlug and connector, Passenger side front, splices into wires that head up to the headlights.http://img22.imageshack.us/img...l.jpgNo idea what these do..http://img17.imageshack.us/img...d.jpgThese two come out of the fuse block.. Important?http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/48/imag0013y.jpgLower harness, Where do these plugs gohttp://img13.imageshack.us/img...t.jpgDriver side, Strut tower, Ground.. Wheres it go =)?

Also the previous owner installed a battery relocation kit. Has 3 wires coming from the battery, One goes to starter, ones a ground that goes on the motor(Still trying to figure out where it gets grounded too) and a 3rd wire that is spliced into the main harness before the fuse block. I'm assuming both wires goto the hot side and the ground gets grounded?

Thanks alot in advance

Passenger side firewall looks like the battery ground that goes to the block under the front of the intake manifold.

Okay, Got the oil plug figured out. Theres nothing going to my 02 sensor, so im thinking thats what those 3 long wires goto out of the big harness by the firewall.. Styll confused about the 3 plugs that are down by the transmission, and the main ground, also the plugs up by the headlights and whatnot.

Lovely, Figured out most of the stuff, Hooked the ground up to the battery, hooked the starter up, went to hook up the line to the wiring on the chassis and it sparks when I put it on the hot side of the battery.. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to look for an electrical gremlin somewhere?

Are you talking about the wire coming off the starter, I mistakenly hooked a ground for the starter to the block instead of the chassis and it sparked on my battery terminal. It would've eaten my battery terminal up if I had not taken it off. Check that ground and make sure it's on the chassis and not the block.

The starter has two wires going to it.. Ones a little plug that sticks out on the case, and theres two prongs sticking out, One has like a strap that connects it to the case, which is the closest to the starter its self, and the second is the outside prong that I have running to the hot of the battery.

I was trying to figure this out.. If I hook the main harness wiring that goes into the fuse box to the ground side of the battery.. How would everything get power because the only hot source would be the starter.. So I must have a short somewhere?
