hey guys wassup!! new mmber been ghosting ur forums for a while but i have some questions i havent found answers to.

i have a 1994 z tt rhd from japan. i drove all summer long last year :) ive been acumulating parts and wtv. anyways.

i put my z in a sidewalk drifting it. i need a subframe. besides conzept z, is there anywhere else i can get a subframe? (new).

its a 94 so it has eletric super hicas. i wanna delete it. so far ive seen only for power steering. is there dyi on electric super hicas removal?

so its a 94 automatic. pleaseeee!! can i get EXACT info on what the differences are on the auto and manuals. should i sell it and get a manual? im looking to build for power from 350 to 400 whp is a auto engine and turbos and cams, wtv, good enough for it.

any dyi or some info on a auto to manual swap?

my list of mods to be put on are

full 3 inch exhaust turbo back. labreee downpipe, labree xpipe, hks hi power tips.
ur racing pulleys
hks evc
egr delete, water delete and bypass lines
maybe ptu relocation?
120k service.

what kind of performance can i see from the above ^^^ (remember its an auto.)

THATS all :)

Welcome to NICO!

A new subframe should be able to be purchased through just about all of the big name retailers.

As far as I know on deleting the electric hicas all you need is the bar (can someone confirm?).

Manual or auto is your own preference, it can be swapped, people do it all the time, your power goals are very reasonable.

There is tons of info on the web for what you will need for the swap.

Nice list of mods but the 3" exhaust won't be fully utilized on your current setup unless you plan to do more in the future? I suggest you go with a quality 2.5" exhaust or you can go with the 'coned' test pipes that start at 3" and cone down to 2.5". Do you still have a stock air box? If so you should consider going with a quality pop unit and while you are at it a chip for the ECU.

I have no clue what kind of power you will be at with those mods on an auto. But on a 5spd if you had the mods you want plus the ones I mentioned the car should make between 290whp - 310whp depending on how healthy everything is.

I have no clue about the bumper - I hate that bumper haha.

Clean Z BTW!

which retailers?

manual is my preference. i don't think u understood my question. i wanna know if it is worth modifying a automatic vg30tt and see great power gains vs a manual vg30tt. that's why i asked for specific differences between the 2.

link to manual swap info?

Your question regarding the AT vs MT TT depends upon your plans on what you do with your car.
Off hand the AT TT makes 20 HP less to begin with but which is easily changed with a tune I think (and IIRC AT turbos are smaller?), and overall there would not be a engine power output difference between the two if built similarly (same turbos, tune) but more the difference of how the two transmissions work when shifting gears becomes necessary.
Unless you're going drag racing, the MT car will be a better performer because the AT just doesn't work as well for spirited driving what with it's hunting around effect at times and slow shifting overall. You can however get a beefed up AT with a HKS ALC shift controller for drag racing that will work far better for that use than a MT unless you are a great MT shifter.
I personally had an ALC on my AT '90 NA before a MT swap, it was fun and shifted hard but really did nothing to make the car make more power, but more perform better off the line.
So my point would be that unless you plan on drag racing hard, that the MT route will most likely be the best route regarding the trans and you just make the power you want.

I don't know for JDM but indeed, USDM TT AT has 280HP and MT has 300HP.

the plan is to have a MT cause AT sucks honestly. im not after 1/4 mile times. its more of a highway high power car.

In my little experience in turbo cars, i have ridden in both manual and auto cars. The only advantage autos have is; once you're in boost, you stay in boost until you let off the pedal. So you have no lag except for right off the line. The issue is, getting an auto that will stand up to the abuse.

Different ECU tune, and smaller turbos. I think you can get to the turbos while you have the transmission out IIRC. But, you can get the ECU tuned and I doubt you'll be able to tell the turbos are smaller. Just don't over-boost it

The cams are also different, IIRC it's the intake cams that're different. Z1 has a comparison between all the motors (N/A, TT, Auto & manual).
