There are a few problems with the car, it was used and has 66k Miles, here are the symptoms, ca you guys tell me if it's normal, easy fix or a common problem, and where can i check about recalls (is there any?)

1. Hood doesn't want to stay down, after it click's locked, if i pull with enough force (not that much) it will pop out again, it poped out today driving, and i don't want it to happen at high speeds.

2.- The Sunroof rattles while in the OPEN position, is like is very loose in the back part, if i close it just a little bit it will be less.

3.- Where does the stock wiring for the back speakers go?

4.- What books do you guys recommend (chiltons, etc.) for fixes

5.- wich is the fattest tire + rim i can put in the back in 16" or 17" (What do you guys recommend)

6.- How do i know if the struts (or shocks?) are still ok or need changing.

7.- What plugs and plug wires do i use NGK but what model?

I have a lot more, i have read and read here and came up with a few answers but still i have a lot more, and sorry for my english and if i posted in the wrong forum.

1. check the alignment of the hood, see if it is off a little, if thats ok, check the latch and see that it is working properly and make sure the release cable is not sticking.

3. the stock wiring for the back speakers should go to your head unit.

4. for fixes get a FSM (factory service manual) definately worth the $.

6. push down on each corner and release, if it bounces moer than 3 times before settling then they need a changin

7. i dont know the model, but stick with the NGK's for plugs.

i cant help ya with 2 or 5.

I have a 1993 convertible and I could pull my hood up without using the release. I disconnected the cable from the release and hooked up a piece of wire so I could reach it from under the car. Then I closed the hood and it locked solid . I crawled under my car pulled the wire and opened my hood. You can test the lock assembly by removing it from your car. Put a piece of rope where the hood latch would normaly lock in. THen push the lock assembly over with a screw driver. Now pull up on the string. If it unlatches either your mechanical latch is shot or the springs are worn. I am currently trying to figure out how to adjust the cable that connected the hood relase to the hood release knob.

good point.measure the gap distance between the hood and the side fenders. you can probably just eyeball it to tell the difference.

about the tire/rim size. on OEM SE 16's, (s14) i've heard of people having 245's. thats cutting it close. VERY close. i've seen 19's on a 240, and you won't have any clearance problems w/ 255's in the back. maybe bigger. a friend of mine has 245's on his aftermarket rims, and there is still room for a wider tire.
