It will be a biotch to get in, but it is nice and big. 10psi should be no problem, and mabye even 12 with an IC spray setup. I got this one for $110 shipped, and it is in AWESOME shape. No bent fins, etc. Just thought I would post it up so people could see that this is a viable option for IC.

496ci and can handle 350rwhp on a 2JZ. We'll see what I can do with it on my CA.

Not bad at all. Came with the ducking too. I was looking at that SMIC. I'm going to use one when I get my CA. That thing is a beast :)

Keep us updated on how you duck and mount that. Maybe some pics.

Congrats on the good find.

Andrew.

sweet pete, toyota wasn't screwing around with that one were they! You gotta love that company sometimes. I'd still give my left nut for an all-trac...

I really don't want to start a 2l 4 cylinder brawl, but I disagree with the 4G63 comment. And the FJ20 is great, but a friggin ton of bricks.

No, I found the IC on supraforums.com eBay was overpriced.

I disagree with the 4g63 comment as well. And you are right about FJ's being big and heavy!

sometimes you get lucky on ebay. the first time i won a 1g dsm bov for like $55 shipped, then AFTER i paid, the mofo decides to keep the bov. after searching for another bov for about 2 weeks, they kept popping in and the price always ended like above $60+shipping :(

and right now ive won some stuff for a pretty good price imo, but i still havent recieved my stuff, damn ebay is a gamble sometimes :(

and one more thing to add to egay, i mean ebay. i hate how the seller doesnt leave you feedback until the buyer does. i mean, i already paid you, so at least leave me my feedback you @$$hole !!! why do you have to wait until I leave you feedback ?!

Depends on the seller. Most of the ones I've delt with leave feedback right after I pay. But I can also understand their thinking. Lets say they do everything right, and leave you good feedback, but the buyer buys the wrong thing and you won't return it, and then they leave you poor feedback. You already left them good feedback, so it's not like you can take it back. Oh well, to each is their own.

Isn't that a bit thick for a side mount? I mean, the amount of airflow you get in the stock location can't be much and it would have a tough time flowing through that beast.

It should be fine. I am running no cover over the rear (mabye chicken wire...jk), and I will sort out some ducting for it after it is in.
