well just finished up my car a few weeks ago and finally took it to the track last night, i only made 2 passes and kinda took it easy on the car...first pass was a [email protected] with a 2.1 60" and the second was a [email protected] with a 2.0 60". both passes were made on only 11-12psi!!! and 26x10.5 MT ET streets.

set up right now:

Bone stock R32 rb26stock r32 turbosSS turbo exhaust dumps2.5 downpipes3in cat backmckinney mountsfront mount i/cJGY 11lbs flywheelJGY 650hp clutch 4 puckrb26 bellhousing on n/a z32 transdriveshaft shop driveshaftj30 diffsingle walbro stock ecu/injectors and zero tuning 11.5ish afrs at WOT

im going to get a BEE*R limiter, and turn it up to 15psi, try to get some 11s at high teen traps

NICE!

I wouldn't turn up the boost much more on the r32 turbos. ceramic wheel and bearing i believe... safe is in the 12-14 psi range, or less. more than that and you're asking for trouble imo.

your passes make me wonder what i would be doing with my 26. never done the drag strip.

good motor choice!

i would of kept the stock flywheel since it looks like your only going to drag race cause light weight flywheels are design more for the autocross/drift. other then that if you cut a 1.8 60ft you should be in the low twelves but dont expect to hit anything higher then 114-115mph on that setup. i ran the stock twins for a while and never trapped higher then 114mph with the stock twins @15psi and a gizzmo launch interface. other then that not bad man.

Have you resolved any of the oil issues with the motor?

Looks good man.

No overheating/getting hot with the stock radiator?

Is that true? What about doing the combination of all three (autox, drifting, drag)? I guess I should find out before installing my lightweight flywheel or not - I'll also be getting a aluminum driveshaft....I think.

great car and i love that setup...mine is a rb25det with mckinney mounts and i already have the rb26 bellhousing with z32 rear bolted up and ready to go...Did the shifter line up for you with the factory hole or you had to modify it? Also wanted to ask you if your using the rb25det driveshaft length or you had to get a custom size made for your rb26 and z32 setup...thanks dude

nope no overheating, it has a nismo thermo, stock s14 rad. and 2 12" fans.its like 180 all the time when its hot out, and when its cold at night like 165.

no the shifter sits like 3 inchs back, it kind sucked but its not in a bad spot because i have long legs and sit back far anyway.and the premade drive shafts dont work, in my car with mckinney mounts, z32 trans, s14 with no ABS it was 49 and 1/16 inchs long. i called driveshaft shop and they made me one for 350 bucks...

call them up there super cool guys there, and they will tell you have to measure the length you need.

thats cool thanks i just got back from getting my flywheel resurfaced now i need to order my clutch iam going towards the act clutch...After that i'll be buying the driveshaft i wish i can buy everything now and get this bish started already but i dont wanna rush things...How you like those mckinney mounts do they feel solid when your driving? I was thinking that the mckinney transmission mount wont line up since its not the rb25 transmission did you have to modify that

i like them, they are smooth but firm at the same time... and the trans mount bolted right up to the z trans no problem.

and i have my fans just wired to a key on 12v so they just run all the time..

Def get the crank collar and maybe an oil restrictor to prevent pooling in the head before you buy the Rev limiter. It's the bouncing off the rev limiter which shatters the pump. Nice set-up I love RB26's

nice time man...i managed a 12.2 @ 112 with my stock RB25 on 12 psi...with 1.6 60'....your def close you just need to come out of the hole a lil harder...i have done some stuff since then and managed an 11.67 @ 117 with a 1.56 60'...stock engine base tune on power fc and a 3076R @ 20 psi...i run BFG Comp T/A Radials 255/50 16

the 60' is where its won or lost...get the import intellegence unit its just as good as the BEE*R but less expensive
