Just thought i'd share a couple pics of my motor. I'm still waiting for all of the bodywork to be completed and then ill drop my motor in. Ill post up pics of the motor installed and with a dyno sheet when the time comes. The blue tape is there just to protect the turbo from any dust while the motor sits awaiting the install.

ooo nice engine.. i like how the turbo sits with the top mount manifold.. does that have a significant effect on performance.. i'm a noob to turbo cars and 240s in general

hey guys, thanks for the kind words and sorry I should have posted up specs. I'm about to pick up my cams, valve springs and rocker arm stoppers. Anyway, here is the current mod list of all the mods that I have purchased and are ready for install once the car arrives from the bodyshop, hopefully this should be able to answer a few questions.

hey i was wondering where you got your oil feed line for your turbo??

550's? You may want to go a bit bigger, at least 740's if you plan on running high boost. Just a thought.

That's a sick set-up though! Wish mine looked that nice. Eh, it gets the job done though...

its funny how you have blue tape covering the intake, are you going to keep it on when you drive it? bc there is a lot of dust, and bugs, and rocks when driving it on the road... i have always wondered about open turbos like that. im thinking they wear out quicker...

That's because I have a filter that I will put on the turbo for daily driving to keep dust out.
