Well, had my 2010, 3.5 baby for about a month now and enjoying it. But a few things are nagging at me. Hope none of these are too dumb:

- Keys?? I just noticed the actual keyhole for the first time the other day. Was I suppose to get a "real key" for emergencies (dead batt.)? I don't think I did.

- Pedals - Now, my feet are kind of big (size 13) but I find the brake and accelerator pedals a bit close together. Anyone else feel this way? Any easy solutions??

- Blind spot - Now this might just take a bit more mirror adjustment, but I'm having a bit of a hard time with my driver's side blind spot. I'm pretty tall (6'4") but I've tweaked the mirrors and seat a bit and still have trouble with this. I tend to look over my shoulder anyway, but any tips would help. Not a big deal and may just take me getting used to the car a bit more.

- Rattle - There is a slight rattle at highway speeds (70+mph) from around the area of the drivers side front dash speaker. It isn't the sound system because I hear it with that off. I think it might just be a bit of plastic or something loose under that speaker grill. Is that easy to pop off?

Anyway - thanks in advance. :)

Your fob IS the actual key. Turn it over and there is a little release latch. Pull it, and the fob slides off of the actual key. Use this for locking the glove box as well. However, this key wont start the car, you must have the fob to do so. In the event of a low/dead battery, there is a small slot on the left side of the steering wheel near the hood release. If the battery is going, slide the fob in there and start the car.

Hey - that's pretty slick! Just pulled mine out. Probably showed that in the manual too - but heck, who reads those things?! ;) Thanks!

Hi, rad -- Crimson black -- if they'd had one with all the options I wanted when I bought my white one (which I love and wanted all along), my wife would have insisted on the crimson black (she loved it). So, how much of the crimson actually is visible and how does it look? Pics?

I love the color! I work in the paint industry so paint and color are very important to me. The dealer had to get the car from another place for me (they only had two coupes and neither with the options or color I wanted). In the right light the color looks very sharp and rich. Hard to take a good picture of it though, but here is one and more at the link below too.

Thanks for that pic -- it's the first natural one I've seen in which it's possible to see what the crimson black really looks like. Very nice!

I recommend getting blindspot mirrors @autozone. Never have to turn around and look back as much anymore.

How do those work? Do you just stick them over the standard mirrors??

yea there really small, usually about the length of your finger and about an inch tall, but they come in different sizes, youll see them on trucks a lot,

you just stick them to the part of the mirror furthest from the car at the bottom, i think its a really strong glue that holds it on.

rad you beat me to the punch haha!
i never really asked, but those were my questions as well, a while ago.
you get used to the close pedals eventually (im 6'1")
you also get used to the blind spot, everytime you need to see if a car is there just move ur body forward towards the steering wheel and turn ur head to look at the left mirror. (it works for me IMO :gapteeth: )
and i know exactly what you mean by the rattle, ive noticed it when somebody is riding there and theyr voice sounds funny cus of the shaking haha, does anyone know what thats about? i still havent figured it out :wtf2:

Nice to know that others have noticed similar things. I am getting used to the pedals more and the blind spot. Lately I've just been driving a lot and having to merge, etc. in tricky, busy areas and it's a bit unnerving to have trouble seeing like that. But I'm adapting.

i'm 5'8 and that blind spot took me some getting used to so i would imagine it must be worse for taller people. i feel your pain...
