Few e -de swap questions

Let me first say im on my phone and its also 7am so cut me some slack please

Ill get right to the point here, im swaping a 93 ka24de into my 89 coupe (ecu,harrnes,motor) pretty much everything is coming from the same car.

1. I had a HUD i have looked at the diy swap info on here and understand wiring the tach up but will my hud still work or do i need to redo somthing to get it to work.

2. I just orderd a new mismo rad and 2 e-fans. Can anyone tell me how to wire them in to come on automaticly or do i just have to put them on a switch?

3. Anything i need to lookout for? What i mean is are there any stupid problems that people over look when doing the swap.

My buddy Tim just order a aluminum radiator and 2 e fans for his sohc... and he has both of them wired up so both come on automatically... idk how lol, but i do know its possible to do so, without having one fan on a toggle switch! Just wanted to let you know haha :)

New question. The motor i picked up came out of a 95 s14 but the guy said it was from a 93 and just has the s14 intake mani on it. Everything i read says i need to swap that out for a s13 dohc one but why? I have the ecu and wiring harness from the s14 that comes with the motor so why do i need to swap intakes? Shouldnt everything plug in and be fine?

Im assuming i can use the s14 ecu and harness? If not can someone please explain why i have to change everything and find a new ecu and harness?

Check and make sure the plug by the ecu (goes under the dash) plugs in. If not you will need to find an s13 harness. But I would think as long as your obd1 you'll be fine. I have an 96 s14 KA obd2 but I run ALL s13 electronics. As far as the manifold, you don't need to swap it. People actually swap on the s14 mani on s13's for more flow (its bigger) so for you that's a plus!

For your fans you need a fan controller. Look on summitracing.com or go to freaking Autozone man! They have them!

I beleive the IACV plug is differenct between the s13 and s14, i ended up just swapping my IACV when i did my swap. If you bought the harness with the motor I would imagine it should all plug in fine though.

i know i will have to cut and put a s14 plug on the under dash part thats no biggie... Its just all the f*** and DIY's say you need to change intake mani. i dont understand why, im useing a s14 harness, ecu and motor....why would i need to change the intake mani in the first place?
