yup, not a lot of pic's of the OSG head and the ones that are are captioned in japanese, and if you find one they sell for thousands of dollars, makes the RB seem like a bargain

More for collectors than anything. Bang for buck is horrible as it give you, what, a 4-5% increase over stock?

I believe the OSG cars were putting down 200-220 whp!, of course cam, carbs and header on the standard heads will get you close to 200, or you can build a high compression 3.1 stroker (for less than the OSH head) and get up to 250whp

Yeah, but you can do some head work to the "stocker" for some additional breathing. Head vs. head, from what I have seen, was not that much of a gain. At least when you consider the price of the new head in the first place.

well I believe OSG released them mostly to improve upon the S20 found in the fairlady 432 I guess they expected more demand, the easiest and cheapest way to make big power with the L6 is with a turbo, the stock internals can handle 400 whp and thats without any head work or even a cam, you should join the z club for our next dyno day in november, we have a short stroke 2.8 that puts down 170whp and has the flattest power band you've even seen, and one member just finnished a 3.1 stroker, should be well over 200whp, and I shouild be around 300-330 whp if I don't loose any more compression in #2 (gotta build a new block this winter with forged pistons so I can boost my way to 400 why)

OSG def won't be making any more. Cost of tooling is too high and people will simply not pay that much for a head to make it worth their efforts.

Why don't you drop a VQ in there and be done with it

the "T" in L28ET stands for Turboif you want to ttay N/A a3.1 stroker is popular, LD28 crank from a diesel maxima, with 240z rods in a 280z block with KA24 pistons machined down so to not puch the head off the block, fully ballanced with a decent cam, tripple sidedrafts and header can put 250 to the wheel, I;ve seen high compression 2.8 make 190 whp with a mild cam and good carbs and header, we have another local guy that made a short stroke 2.8 (280 block overbored with 2.4 crank and rods with cutom pistons) with a mild cam a good tripples and header put 170 to the wheels with the flattest torque and power curves I've seen, feels like a motorcycle powerband
