so i cant spell.ok well. how important are you fender wells? i lost both of them. im jjust wondering if i should go find some or am i fine? i live in new orleans, if that means anything. i was just thinking about cleanning each one really really really good, and spary painting it black or something. or is it a bad idea?eh. whatever its just an idea.thankspeace

I think he lost the plastic pieces, and wants to spray paint whatever is underneath it all... the underside of the fender and chassis there? Maybe i'm wrong...

well if you lost them dont have a part that goes up under the bumper. i believe that helps with air flow. in the city its not going to matter, but it might on the interstate. i could be talking out my *** though.

It's a really bad idea to not have those. Not only does it help with airflow. If you drive without those there's way more places for dirt and mud to collect and if you live in a cold area, salt! Which will rust out you car like no tommorrow without fender wells because it'll be so hard to wash out.

Yeah, those are basically designed to protect your car from dirt, water, salt etc. If you live in a real dry area i wouldn't worry about it. But i live in new jersey so i am definitely looking for a new pair since i lost mine. Anywhere with alot of rain/snow etc should definitely have those on their car.

ok sean you hit the lion in the eye (wtf? yeah i made that up)in new orleans its very humid, so um uhhh. should i get a new pair or just stick to the idea of spray painting whats left in there?get a good amount of rain it hasnt rained in weeks. thanks for your input guys and yeah my bad for the confusionpeace

sunny california probably not too much longer. Rainy season's about to get kickin (well at least in nor cal) and gettin ready to drown us out like rats in the hull of a sinking boat. Yeah it'd be a good idea to have em regardless of where you live since there's always gonna be dirt and grime and other nasty debris around. When I took off my fenders and the wells (but they were pretty torn up), turned out the previous owner had been a bastard and let a small habitat of dirt and leaves and other stuff grow in there. After a good cleaning (involved a bit of cussing) all clean and i do appreciate the wells.
