I had to get a few millimeters of clearance to properly fit my 245/45-17's. I didn't have a baseball bat or PVC pipe laying around, nor did I feel like dropping $50 on a fender rolling tool and dealing with shipping. So I came up with something else. After some milling on a bench grinder, I was able to use this cheap, disposable adjustable wrench to bend the lip up to get the clearance needed. Electrical tape was used to protect the paint.

Edit: If I wanted, I could get even more of a roll by grinding the little armature even more, and taking about an inch or so off of the handle.

Lol the deed's done.

Plus I have too much wheel gap for a little 3/4 inch steel bar to do much good.
