Well, here is my write-up for it.

I know it looks easy enough but there is a trick to it, other than that, it is simple if you have the Eastwood Fender Roller!!!!!! yeay for that.

I just broke down and dropped the $300 for it. anyways here goes:

For all our cars, there is the cars wire harness that goes through the driver front fender.. When you decide to go with bigger rims/tires and lower your car to a certain height, you need to move the harness up more or else you will burn the wire harness adn nothign in your car will work... BIG MISTAKE.

SO yea, this is what your car will look like without the front driverside fender:

Notice the wire harness:

see how low it hangs.. so you hae to break the clips and then just zip-tie it above the little rim part of the fender (you will know what I am talking about when you look at your fender.)

This is what it will look like after a million zip-ties:

I left the car out in the sun so it heated up the fender... it makes it easier to mold the metal. I also used a heat gun to heat it up even more... which made it easier than cutting warm butter:

now you see the lip:

here is the shot with the fender roller on the front:

AND here is the fender with rolled lip:

here is the money shot with the wide rim/tire on and you can see the super flat lip!!!! SOOO much room now! this is without me changing the camber settings and lowering the car more:

Now you repeat this on the passenger side BUT you don't haev to remove the fender or anything.. just remove the inner fender cover thingies though...

next you repeat the process for the rear ones:

this is what the front looks like without messing with the camber settings or lowering the car more:

here is the rear:

here is the side view of the car with front and back:

SInce then, I have lowered the car more and changed the camber in the front and back... i will wash myc ar and take some better pictures soon..

let me know if you have any questions...

These are Ho-zigens.... 17x9 +20 all around w/ 225/45 in the front and 235/45 in the back.

Heating the fender also helps you not crack the paint on the fender when you roll it!

very nice, i did all that a month ago or so. Just so you know, taking that ribbed plastic lining off of the fender harness reduces the size a lot and makes it easier to fit up above. Very nice job though, I just put those wheels on myself 2 hours ago, only in hyperblack with 215-45-17 all around.

So is it possible to use the Eastwood to pull the fender a bit, for a little extra clearance?

^^ yes but take it easy and use heat or something, my buddy busted the welds on the roller trying to flare his rear fenders out a lot, but quickly. but he got a lot of clearance afterwards

be careful on S13 hatches the rear render like to buckle if you try to pull them to much. Just use alot of heat. Its better to use alot of heat and crack your paint than to buckle a fender. Buckling a fender require a decent amount of body work.

i know a lot of people (especially some of the pink godzira guys) swear by using the hammer + propane torch method for rolling fenders.

alternatively, if you dislike the lip that a fender roller makes when pulling, the hammer + torch method can pull the fender too without making that lip.

either way, good job!

pretty much when the rear quarter right below the rear quarter window and above the fender pretty much caves in. It will look like some body took a slede hammer and took a swing at your rear quarter.

yes, much less than that.. for NICO members... If you are local, you can come by my house or I can bring it to you and you can roll them.. email me if you want to make an appointment =). I just have a few other people that want to roll them and I have limited time since we just bought a house and I work everyday.

when i had coils on i used the heat gun and hammer method. work for me to push the lips back.

i held my hand on the outside of the fender where i was hitting it with the hammer. i kept a folded over rag ont he spot i was hitting for some added protection

i would rather have used a roller but i get im patient sometimes

did my front fenders last night using a piece of 1 1/2 pipe i had left over from a Ubend, rolled it against the tire and fender, ****ed up my pass fender when the pipe walked up high and put a line where the tip pushed against the fender. it was already messed up so i didnt care. it was free and only took 5mins.
