Hi, i've been looking at aftermarket fenders for my 93 240sx hatchback. I really like the look of the front fenders with the air dams in the sides, but all of these fenders seem to be 20-30mm wider. Does anyone know of an aftermarket fender with air dams and the stock width? I've heard that wide front fenders look stupid without wide rears. I'd rather not widen the rear fenders. Would it be more pausible to just widen both ends? If I do go with a widebody kit, what width of tire would fill the wheel wells? Thanks.

I honestly haven't seen an aftermarket fender that wasn't wider.

I haven't seen any either. I think with the wider fender is where they get the room for the vents like the chargespeed one. I agree also that wide fenders on the front only wouldn't look right. Now wide rear quarters with factory front fenders would be sweet.

BomexS13 has fender flares on his S13, he should know for sure. But I imagine you could run 9" in the rear and fill it out, but its not really the width of the tire that is important, its the offset.

Does widening the rear fenders require much cutting or bodywork to blend them in? The main reason I'm reluctant to widen the rear is the gas cap door. In all the widebody 240's ive seen the gas cap door is always either sunk in or a cheesy looking aftermarket one.
