Hopefully someone can help me my kouki has some damage I really want to get fixed but I do not know which way to go, heres the deal one autobody shop said they could fix it but would have to grind all the way down to the metal and fix the problem there supposedly and the other one told me to go to a junk yard and get that quarter pannel cut of and they can put it on my kouki, so what do you suggest I do, without having to bondo it, this has already been bondoed and it cracked as u can tell. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here are pics of the damage.

And here is some of the corosion im guessing

It would probably be alot cheaper and easier to just find a quater panel from the junk yard then get the paint matched idk how much that'll cost for the paint so do some research on cost

if you are willing to spend the money a new QUARTER panel would be the way to go. tho there will be grinding and welding invoved and some body filler will be used.

thats rust comming through by th glass and the rust also made the body filler crack.

if your not to anal about filler, it would be cheaper to have a pro just grind down the ppr (poor prior repair) and get to the metal then they will just "rebuild the quarter panel and match the paint to the door.

the door prob has some prior work done to it im guessing.

getting a used quarter is cheaper but the shop will charge you to r&i the quarter glass, rear window, skirt and the rear bumper. pluss they will have to paint inside the door jam and also paint the door to match the quarter. pluss all the int trim might have to be removed also.

just a side note the fronts are fenders and the rears are quarter panels. unless the panels are bolt on they are fenders but on the rear if they are welded on they are quarter panels just for your fyi
