OK, so I live in the North East and it would be an understatement to say we have gotten a little bit of snow over the past month or so. Anyways, Im lowered on Megan Racing coils so driving in the snow (anything more than a few inches) poses a little bit of a problem. Long story short my front tires rub on my fender liners and I hit a patch of snow that came out of nowhere and ripped out my driver side fender liner. Does this pose a problem? I never did a wire tuck with the harness and Im worried that because of my coils the tires rubbing on the harness could cause a prob...

Where can I get a new fender liner? How much?

*Is it even worth replacing?

Bump!

I live in the northeast also, and my drivers-side front fender liner is ripped from the inside brackets, so what would one recommend to keep it from rubbing against my 17's? I'm thinking of just drilling holes and then bolting it on, but iunno...

personally i would get a new one from a junk yard or somthing..my buddy just had a smal fire because of a tire rubbing on his harness and he has to re wire the thing ..so i think you should just save yourself the potential trouble and get one lol

Internets has shopping features. You can try searching for s13 parts/fender/etc. You could also go to a dealer.I know its probably not the cool thing to do, but during the winter snow, you could raise the ride height...

Edit: Came back to suggest Courtesy Nissanhttp://www.courtesyparts.com/2....html

Yeah my ride height is in 4x4 mode right now... but that's also because I haven't bought coils yet lol. Can't wait till summer and a full-time job...

my coils are maxxxxed out on my drift spec winding masters, i daily it, no liners. all i did was take ,my fenders off and zip tie my harness up into the fender so the tires do not rub it anymore. problem solved.

I run the fender liner, I rub if I hit any dips or bumps along the road, but for normal driving I have no problems. I don't really care if it hits the liner, I just don't want any harness problems.

Remove liners, pull fenders, sand prime, paint flat when brush on some "roll on bedliner". Also do this to the rear of the fender. Also do the frame rail if its not rusty yet. Then zip tie harnesses up and out of the way, put fenders back on and done.

Yes, there's a write-up on how to move your wiring over without hassle. Try courtesyparts.com and search for a liner if you absolutely have to have it new. You might as well just get it from a junk yard though. It's just plastic. I would reccommend replacing it with all the salt around here. My acura had some MAJOR problems because moisture got in some wires in the wheel well.

I zip-tied my harness to a part of the inner fender and the line that goes to the hood latch.
