Ok guys I have been looking into suspension stuff after getting my 17x7.5 5 zigen copse rims. ( I put 215/40/17 for the tire (kumho estca) and the fender gap is terrible!!!!!) I have 3.5" of gap in the front and 3" in the rear. Is there any way I can drop my ride about 2 1/2" in the front and 2 in the rear (Tanabe DF210) and correct the camber? I dont want to spend the same ammount as a drifter set up would cost when I just want to kill that ugly gap! I need to make these tires last so I dont want any camber, just a normal ride that looks good. (s14) Thanks for the help, I just dont know what to get anymore!

Well, if that's the case, get some camber plates from ebay, get a cheap coilover kit for it, and lower it to your desired height. The camber plates will help the front camber while the factory eccentric bolts in the rear suspension will help with the rear camber. That's what I did for a while, ride was ok, just can't handle dips in the road, got tired and got some Flex's.

Why did you get a tire with such a low profile?

That was your only mistake, and it could have been corrected with a little research. Better luck next time... :)

I know! I paid so much more and could of been happy with 45 size. Is it dangerous to the rim to have 40's like will the rim get damaged on bumps or something (I wonder if anyone could trade me...)? Speaking of which, i ordered the Copse rims from discount tire (cheapest i could find with local pick up), and they scratched all the rims on the lip and now have to order me a new set. But the rims are on back order until the end of september. I doubt they will let me exchange the tires as well...

I was thinking about ksports because I dont want to get something seriously crappy. There is a GB going on for ksports (660 shipped with pillowbar mounts) and all i would need is rear camber arms then right?
