anyone know where fender flares like this could be found or do they have to be made? also is that just a silvia hood or is that custom made as well? not tryin to copy them just local authorities dont like tires sticking out past the car.

That guy is terrible to deal with. He sent me a broken lip, and put me through hell when I tried to return mine for a new one. The product fit like a** too...

I'd say you get overfenders instead... flares for the most part look like pure sh i t on S13s.

See I'd like fender overs if it weren't for the gas tank cover then being sunken in

The unfortunante part about that is...the overfenders look like pure s*** as well, on any car for that matter.

Make the fuel door flush? All you have to do is cut the door off or unbolt it if it bolts on, and weld a shim on it.

x2. Why not just roll and pull the fenders unless the wheels poke out that much. Any pics?

Any sort of wide body is pointless unless you are running wider than a 10" wheel. You can fit all sorts of tire under stock metal.

OP what wheels do you have that require the use of either flares or overfenders?

if your tires stick out past your fenders its illegal

and to the OP dont listen to these guys, if you have the right wheel and tire combo you can easily pull off fender flares, like this...

but you have to be carefull, take this car, the car itself looks pretty good, but IMO the only thing thats killing it is the front flares need to be a little lower and he needs different wheels and/or tires

its been like that for a LONG time, back in the early 60's when everyone was running open wheeled hotrods they started enforcing it more, some places enforce it more than others, its like alot of states dont care if you have a front license plate or not, where i live if you dont have one its a 100 dollar ticket.

its just like the town i used to live in had a noise ordinance, i got a warning ticket because i put a 3 inch exhaust with no cat on my KA with a header 2 weeks before my SR swap and it was kinda loud, but all summer long guys on harleys get away with running straight exhuast with no mufflers going down the road at wide open throttle making enough noise to make you go deff for a few seconds and they get away with it

^^

Just so you know, Harleys get away with being really loud because it makes it harder for people to not see them. If you have ever ridden a motorcycle on the road, you know dumb people just don't pay attention and it is easy to wind up dead. If you are really loud, people will know you are there and not run you into a ditch when they merge without looking.

all i know is all of my freinds own sport bikes, and they dont sit and constantly rev at stop lights and then go full throttle EVERYWHERE they go, and i know im going to make alot of people mad but all those new harleys with loud exhaust sound like complete $hit anyways, the older bikes dont sound bad but most of them dont have super loud exhuast, and sport bikes can be loud too but at least they sound good, and they have a different tone that doesnt make your ears feel like they are about to start bleeding.

and this^^

unless your wheels are above 10.5-11 0 offset you can just give it an aggressive roll and it'll fit fine. The front becomes tricky tho, 18X9.5 is prolly the biggest you will wanna fit without overfenders and you'll prolly need to do a harness relocation to above the wheel arch.

wheels aren't the only thing that would require widebody, im only running 9s but im running extended lcas, and an angle kit, even without the lcs I would rub fender and have to run a ton of camber to fit in the fenders even after rolling and pulling, with the extended lcas I currently have to run 9 degrees in the front which is way to much, fender flares will let me dial it back to 3 or 4 which is still to much but I can make do for now
