What do you guys think of this? If they call this sexual assault, then everyone who played Halo/CoD has also been sexually assaulted.

Well, maybe the older audience but other than that, most likely no.

o_O

That's some sensitive emotions there. "OMG! A man crouched behind me!" Maybe the guy was playing an elaborate hide and seek game, and she was the perfect concealment?

All kidding aside, it's the internet. People need thick skin to deal with trolls and teabaggers. If she's gonna let one incident like that haunt her, she's better off not playing Home (which if she quits might cut the population in half). Also, the fact that she, or her roommate, brought it to light means that she can't show her face in that particular medium again because she just opened herself up to every troll-esque wannabe in the western hemisphere.

That's probably why she's on a PS3. Can you imagine her reaction after multiple teabaggings on Halo MP? :tisk:

More people need to learn to laugh at crap like that. If someone did that to me, I'd be ROFLing for sure.

Other games have had player jails before. WoW had one that was a giant square room.

Now they just ban ya. Probably too many people to stick inside the box.

Were the "jailed" restricted in their actions?
Or could they fight each other?

You got me. I've never been to player jail, and they took it down so long ago that it's more of a myth than anything these days. From what I understand you couldn't do anything in there though.

Didn't think Ps home still existed. I tried it out for a few minutes when I first got my ps3, but quickly uninstalled.

Yea, did the same.
Home is such a novelty. It's a cool idea and all, but only for the first 5 minutes in loading time.

The flying saucer game is almost fun though.

Too much loading, and too little of a point.
It could have been a good idea... Make it an XMB replacement that will let you go to your house and use your stereo or TV to partake in your media... Bring a friend and stream to their console while letting the two of you laugh or talk together like you were actually hanging out, then head to the arcade where you can meet with a few more friends and launch into a round of call of duty.

Instead, they gave us s*** dance emoticons and 5 minute load times to get to your house where you can do little then pay them real money for fake furniture.

Exactly: the poor (or missing) integration with the PS3 experience as a whole is what really holds Home back. The few instances of integration that are there are clunky and more tedious than doing things without home.
