feels like the clutch is slipping?

i was driving on the highway after doing a full tune up to my car this weekend ,i drove for about a hour and after i got off the highway i came to a stop light when it turned green i steped on the gas and my rpms werent going pass 3k-3.5k i tried getting into second gear and third and still couldnt get pass that range,i ws still getting boost and i checked all the cuplers too,the next day it didnt do it and it was normal,i have a new clutchput in when i did my swap about 3 months ago,and i broke in the cluch before really getting on it so waht do u guys think it could have caused this to happen...could it be the heat i did drive the car for a good hour on the highway kinda hard ,nothing to crazy either,it was a night too the only thing i can think of was that the car got too hot can u guys help me out thanks in advance guys

if it was your clutch slipping your RPM's would of gone way up. it would be like reving in neutral. it sounds like your car may of gone into limp mode. check your connectors under the hood and make sure that you don't have one that is loose. it could also be a sensor going bad. (like your mafs)

thanks for the quick reply,i checked all the obvious connections specially the maf and everything seamed to be fine ,car runs fine now hopefully thats all it was a loose connection of sorts thanks again
