I work at the sioux falls east menards, and i was out in the parking lot. I noticed a early 90's nissan hardbody pickup, it was obviously two wheel drive which meant it had the KA24E. I have a 94 hardbody king cab, v6, 4wd. I noticed his grille guard and checked it out alittle, i was thinking of waiting around for the owner to walk out and ask him where he got it but i figured it was custom made or something.

Anyway, the guy comes out with his kid and hes going to load up some insulation. First he tries to start the truck and probably get the heater going becuase it was so ****ing cold. He tries to start it and it wont start. Meanwhile im getting some carts together (im a cart boy btw ) and i was thinking of lending him a hand but then as im walking by he says "Sir, do you guys have like a company car you can help me jump start with?" And i said "i could help ya if you have the cables" and he did, so i radio to the manager that im going to help him, they said it was ok.

So i pull up my truck and i never realized how big it really looks compared to the 2wd models until then. He says "nissan to nissan huh" I chuckled and we get it started. We both asked about each others trucks and what not, shook hands, told him to have a nice night and went back to work.

Then i noticed him in the yard loading up some wood and i gave him a hand. He said thanks again for the jump. We talked and he said his alternator was crapping out. I told him i have a project 240sx and dont need the alternator thats on the ka and told him if he wants it he could have it. He mentioned the one Nortstroms has and i told it was sold becuase a friend of a friend bought it.

Anyway we talked more about Nissan stuff and he gave me his phone number and i told id get it pulled and call him and drop it off sometime soon, maybe i could trade it for his grille guard.

Just helping out my fellow nissan owners

Awesome. Nissan owner or not, it's nice to help people out. Particularly cool that you are helping him out with parts though, if only there were cart boys like you at every store
