Whats going on Ezeebmos3, I am really feeling your Nismo exhaust I just wanted to ask you for maybe some pictures or more videos during the day time so that the exhaust itself is more visible. I know the parking garage video is old, but it is pretty much pushing me towards buying the Nismo exhaust. Plus I would just love to hear a new video. I appreciate it homie

I finally got my Nismo exhaust installed. The sound is really that amazing.

That vid does do it as much justice as possible without actually feeling it, if you know what I mean.

Nice and deep and I guarantee it will give you a Kool Aid smile!

I am almost ready to dial up my dealer to place the order. I had the coupe in last week for service and they quoted me $965 installed. It will take them 4 days to get the exhaust in. I initially liked the Borla but wanted the full Catback. After listening to the Nismo I liked it just as much if not more.

kidatheart so you have something to compare to, I was quoted $784 for the exhaust at $65 for the install, so $849 + tax. I believe i can get them to lower the price a little.

Thanks for the compare. I called around to all the dealers and this is the best I could do. It was $800 for the exhaust and $165 for the install (I guess I could check some local muffler shops though). When I call to order it I will try to talk them down a bit more but I think this is as low as they will go. I guess there just isn't much demand or competition for this here... What really stinks is that if this were available a few months ago I could have gotten it installed for free and paid only the difference between what the OEM exhaust costs and the Nismo since the car was in a wreck and the exhaust had to be replaced. Oh well...

No problem, $800 doesn't seem too bad. I'm not sure what the hourly price is for installs but $165 seems like a rip off. I called the parts department at about 3 or 4 different dealers and asked for the price on a cat-back install. The highest I was quoted was about $80. Im sure there are some local muffler shops around willing to do it cheaper.

Yeah, as soon as one mentions internet prices they jump. They of course want to stay competitive so you should be able to work them down. Its also a good thing you can install it yourself because they either try and take you for all you got or just don't do it right.

ya I would much rather install it myself because I know that it would be done right and not lazily or wrong.

I would appreciate that man, im purchasing an exhaust very soon, and definately want the Nismo. I just wanted to see some good pictures of the tips, mufflers, and the undercarriage with the new exhaust. When comparing with the Stillen exhaust there are plenty of pictures of the Stillen exhaust from many angles that others have posted. I am buying the Nismo, Stillen,or getting a custom made so I want to make sure I purchase the most appealing, and get the most power or I wont be satisfied. I know you feel that because we all want power, and we already know your Nismo sounds amazing so............ I appreciate it homie and be safe in that weather, its bad here in Baltimore too.
