Hey gang,Here's a body kit I'm looking at for the Vert... on a sidenote I also have fenderflares like AZHitman's - old skool look.. not sure how they will flow together, but like the look of this kit.. what's your thoughts?

I love the front bumper. So clean!

The skirts are nice and the rear bumper is good too.

I like the fender flares better than the widebody for what it's worth.

Ahh yes, Rocket Bunny. Very nice choice...

You can probably pull it off if:

1) You have some really nice, low-offset wheels (no Sportmaxes!) to go with it.

and...

2) Plan on going that low. If not, as close as possible to what you see in those pics. If you're at or near stock ride height, it won't look good at all.

If you know what you're doing, go for it. Best of luck and I very much look forward to the final product.

Oh yeah, what color will your vert be?

Don't get me started on color..lol.. I was originally going towards black and changing my top to something along the lines of tan. Rims.. I have the Peak 5-lug hubs waiting to go in and extended studs.. I'm looking towards either these in a 7.5 front +25 and 8.5 Rear +25[IMG][/IMG]

or these[IMG][/IMG]

or these in an 18 (not sure if I like this size, but would have to think about this one)[IMG][/IMG]

The URAS NS-01 and Bee*R B5 wheels are discontinued so if want a set, you're gonna have to look for them used. There was a place that still sold B5s in silver 17s only. If I remember the place I'll let you know.

If you like the concave wheel look, there's always Volk TE37s and Gravity (Greddy) Gullflames to consider.

As for the tan color, there's G35 sedan Desert Platinum, M45 Sahara Sandstone, FX45 Serengeti Sand...just to name a few.

I agree with Boom, the TE37 or Gullflame would be sick. I myself am looking into pricing on the Gullflame in gold. IMO, those sizes you posted were pretty weak, but to each his own I guess. I'll most likely be running the 18x9.5 +15 if I do the Gullflame.

With flares/widebody you will want 9-10 inch wide wheels at least.

Or opt for a roll and pull and get tasty flushness.

Rocket Bunny? is that the body kit brand?

Looks sweet to me! Like boom said, wide wheels, low offsets, low ride height and you're good to go. Personally, I'm not a fan of the aggressive camber. I say tuck as much wheel as you can without having to warp your suspension geometry.

Grip > style. Sorry drifters - just my $.02.

i love the gullflame wheels. in all the color choices. plus with those greddy wheels you can get pretty much any offset you want.

I've never been a big fan of that kit i don't like the way it looks. but let me tell you that your like my twin... I love the uras wheels and the Bee R 5's but like said before they no longer make them so i have been foreced to keep search going for new wheels.

G/L on which ever you choose.

unless memfab has the hookups on shipping, that will double the cost of the body kit most likely. I don't want to knock you or rain on your parade, but I have had my eyes opened to shipping from Japan in individual boxes due to my r32 front bumper. It sucks. Period.

As mentioned by Boom, you will need to be hella low (as any good looking car should be) and fitment has to be PERFECT. I wouldn't go any narrower than a 9/10 combo in at most a +20 offset depending on ur fender/flare setup.

Good luck, and keep us posted. I hope my predetermined outcome of this project is proven wrong.

The bodykit brand is actually 6666 Customs, and is a division of TRA-Kyoto.. which also happens to own Rocket Bunny, but it's a wholly different brand. afaik, as of somewhat recently still, the 6666 Customs kits weren't yet available to the public... of course, that doesn't stop places like Memory Fab from using pics from TRA-Kyoto's web site and saying they "sell" the kit. But a visit to the TRA-Kyoto site will show the truth: http://www.tra-kyoto.com (you might want to be careful visiting that site at work). AFAIK, they were still mostly just gauging interest in the kit initially...

Uhm... notice none of the letters are English. I'm assuming that's for a liter. That translates to $4.47 per gallon...

It's because this area is missing, so it looks flat. It's a small difference, but definitely noticeable.
