As long as you properly prep the area the tape will go, it will be extremely difficult to remove especially if adhesion promoter is used.

One of the corners of my roof wing didn't stick too well, but that was probably due to the glass not being clean enough. The rest of it is fine though, and the deck wing is stuck like if it was bolted on.

Paint in a can!!!

You can get color matched at some paint places...have to imagine a can would be $15 ballpark but no experience to speak on.

The tape on there is great. I didn't use any adhesion promoter and my wing has been on solidly for the past 6 months or so.

To paint both or each? For both that's a little pricey but sounds about right. I had my wing painted at Maaco and it was like 125 bucks or so. It was 100 bucks for labor plus the 19 for the paint and then tax. With the urethane the prep work is important, so I don't recommend painting it yourself.

It all depends. The Maaco by me is awesome. Dirt cheap and they do great work. Its all about the people and their experience that work there that determines the quality of the work. The Maaco that I go to used to be an independent shop but then the owner bought into the franchise.

If you plan on getting a body kit, I suggest you wait and paint everything at once. You'll save more money because the shop doesn't have to waste any materials painting only small stuff, plus if you paint all at once the paint will be the same.

I was charged around $500 for having my Stillen fascia color matched to the Super Black. *skip about 6months* I cut too close on a high curb over in Hollywood and scraped the paint off the bottom passenger side "corner" of the fascia and that stupid place didn't even prep the urethane.

I didn't think they did because the paint on the grill was bubbling (just a little) when I got the car back from the shop but didn't pay much attention to it. But now I feel like I should just get the whole thing repainted when I get my rims (not here for another month or so) done.

*sorry for long rant*moral, you don't always get what you pay for

yeah i had a bad experience with the macco over on E 50. I took my old car their when i got in an accident, they did the hood and front grille. there were swirls all over the hood and drips and the end of it!! I paid over $500 for that too
