Title says it all....

I bought a set of Xentec 5000K's a few months ago and installed them in the car. Everything worked well for about 3 weeks and then one night the passenger side bulb flickered out and died. It seemed that my ballast had gone bad, since I could switch the bulbs and the same thing would happen. After going through A very annoying return process, I received a new kit.

I put the new kit in and to my extreme frustration the first time I turned them on one of them went out. Luckily it came back on, and as long as I did not start the car with the lights on the 'ON' or 'AUTO' positions all seemed ok. I saw that other people were having problems and recommended the following relay for the issues that I was having.

It's annoying to me to have to be careful with how I operate the lights so I picked one of these up thinking it would fix the problem. Well I just put it in tonight (Following the schematic on the ebay page) and now my lights really do not work at all. Even after removing the the relay and running it how I did before I cannot get my lights to turn on anymore. Needless to say, Im pretty frustrated. Anyone having problems similar to mine?

Any suggestions as to what I could have done wrong with the relay install, or at the very least some suggestions as to get my lights to 'work properly' how they were before the relay install?

It shouldn't really matter but where did you plug in "E"? On the drivers side or passenger? I have mine on the passenger side and everything is working perfectly even on auto.

check the fuses for your headlights... one of them may have blown!

I didn't think it should matter either. It's my understanding that E is simply to get the signal from your car to let the relay know when you pull 12v directly from the battery to the ballasts.

Anyway, mine is plugged into the drivers side. How did you manage to plug it into the passenger side with the battery on the drivers side?

Since my last post I have put the stock bulbs back in, and everything works just fine, so It doesn't seem to be a blown fuse.

My xentec kit came with a set of extensions that i used to reach the passenger side. No real rhyme or reason why i chose to run it this way...

Ok, I just wanted to make suer there wasn't something I was missing At this point I'm going to turn my attention to trying to get my money back. This is the second kit that I have had do this, and it would be stupid for me to try and get yet another replacement. I know that alot of people have had good results with this kit...guess I ain't one of them though.
