I thought Ter-Tech werent going to get people to judge that were in affiliation with anyone down here. So much for that Idea...

i'm sure they've tried to find ppl like that but since the drift community in south florida.. or just florida period isnt huge it might be pretty hard to find ppl that will judge rather than drift.. or that are just good enough to judge

Everyone has a fair chance with me being a judge...whoever pays me the most money and offers me up their girlfriend (fine bishes only, thanks) wins. That's fair, right?

j/k

I honestly hope you're not worried about me passing bias or unfair judgement. During the cometition, affiliation to me means nothing to me. I am judging based on driving and nothing more.

But I wouldn't mind the drivers offering up hawt wimmenz to me.

i dont have any problems with who the judges are, im sure they are definitly quailified for the job. I do have a question though. Why is there a handicap for the people with more of a stock car vs someone with mods? i heard through the grape vine that i was able to get second place because ppl saw i was a auto, open diff, shocks and springs, and said that i did better based on the fact of my car being auto open diff; compared to some of the other competitors.

i definitly think that it is unfair and that everyone should be judged equally, even if someone is completly bone stock compared to someone that has a perfectly modded drift setup.

maybe i misunderstood what someone told me

At the last event, I'm not sure how they judged. We did absolutely no handicapping this time though. All judging was based on driving and driving alone. I wouldn't have agreed to judge if handicapping was part of it.

i dont want to be mislead by placing in a competition when there is a handicap, judging should be based off pure driving and not with a handicap thrown in there.

If there are predetermined course layouts for the tracks that are left in the series could you post em somewhere or let me know what they look like or any info? mainly if there are any ugly walls and the average speed of the course. i would really like to have a picture though. ill try to find out the track addresses and get a arial shot. thanks

btw, good event saturday

of course there is handicapping! there has to be, it is in every professional form of drifting. no way an underpowered car can take the same line, carry the same speed, and create the same smoke as a high hp car. ueo and taniguchi are not judged the same way.

there had to be a handicap beacause i was the only one who had both wheels spinning. theoretically, you guys could not possibly have competed becuase the open diff would not allow you to do the things i could.

sigh, we will see what a open diff auto can do at the next points series event in gainesville, or maybe if chelsea finds a nother place to slide with no walls...... if i had a daily driver i would definitly try the big turn at hialeah, i just cant take the risk of crashing, i cant afford it and there is no room for error.
