Hey Everybody,

I did my 1st plenum pull last December and replaced all the injectors, but this problem was occuring before that if I remember corrrectly. So....whenever I go to start the Z, I have to feather the throttle or just hold the throttle down to get it to start, it has not never started on me but I dont want it to get to that stage. I suspect the IACV, but I have also read fuel pressure regulator, vacuum leak or the fuel pump misbehaving. Any other Z gurus want to put some 2 cents in? I have tried searching on NICO and google but to no avail.

Check the TPS voltages. ECU registers 3 states, idle, open, WOT (but doesn't use WOT). If it thinks its open, but its really not, you'd be starving it of air, hence the need for the throttle.
