Just like with ephedrine, a couple kids take too much and die, so the product gets pulled. If I remember correctly, the kids that died from ephedrine were underage, drinking, and took waaay too much.

I just ordered 500g from Powder City, one of few places I could find it anymore, and had a 10% discount code. Cost me about 10 bucks for the same caffeine that's in 5,000 cups of coffee. :rotfl

Oh well, I don't use it very often. Maybe once a year.

I fail to see the sense in it.

Drink a couple cups of coffee and call it good. Hard to know how much is 'too much' until it's too late. Caffeine is great, but unless you KNOW the dosage (and I wouldn't trust some powder-slinging hipster dips*** with my life), you're running a huge risk. :(

Great way to find out you have a heart defect you never knew about! :)

For those of you that still have a yearning for the jitters know your limits. These folks sure didn't. It can and will kill you.

I consume between 600mg and a gram a day - coffee, no-doze, and energy drinks. They get expensive pretty quick. The bag came with a 50mg measuring spoon. I'll end up weighing out X servings and cutting it with sugar to keep dosage levels in check. Entry level chemistry stuff. For example, mix up 50 servings in a container and use a 5g scoop for dispensing. So, you'd add 10g (200mg x 50) of caffeine and 240g (4.8g x 50) sugar. One scoop provides 200mg caffeine and ~5g sugar. It will mix well in a 16oz water bottle with a crystal light packet for flavor.

LOL ^. Looney, a gram of caffeine is more than double the maximum daily amount recommended for adults. I'm no doctor but that doesn't sound good for long term health..

Yeah, it's bad. Monday night I didn't go to bed and Tuesday night I slept 5 hrs. Last night I got 8.5hrs though. Working while in school sucks.
