FD RX7 550cc injectors anyone running them?

I just got my hands on 4 primary side feed injectors out of two third gen Rx7s. They are 550cc I think. Anyone running these? They look as though they should drop right in. I will pull one of my old ones out tomorrow if nobody knows.

yeah they do, the 850 secondarys fit a little better. I have a set of 4 I'm gonna be using on my next motor. for the 550's you have to sand down the collar a bit. its all right here:

I test fit the 850's and they seem to fit fine without the "collar spacer" piece he mentions...

No, the E's are top feed. A lot of RB and CA injectors will fit.

what size injectors do all the rb's use, what about the ca? i'm only planning on gettin about 250hp to the wheels so the ca injectors may be sufficient, will all of these be a direct drop in?..thanks

CA are 370cc top feedSR20DET are 370cc side feedRB20DET are 270cc ????RB25DET are 370cc side feedRB26DETT are 444cc top feed

to the best of my knowledge.. there is a thread open on injectors right now, too, it has all of the info if you read it through.

why do you need two more?I only have the 850's, sorry no 550's. Check some rotary forums though, as often as the 13B blows (and those guys import new ones) there should be a plethora of parts.

Oh yeah, and the cosmos 3 rotor apparently also uses 6 550's if you happened upon some, but I've never seen them, the motors are rare as hell world wide, 10 times as rare stateside, and if someone had one I'm not sure they would be parting with the injectors.

I need two cause the guy I got them from had two bored out to 800. Now I only have two useable injectors. I never knew that could be done, but thats what he said.

Yea I have a WTB add posed on a few RX7 forums, so not long now.
