So I finally bought datalogit for my PFC!

problem is after windows found a driver for the USB serial converter it installed the converter at comm port 17.

FC edit only shows options for comm ports 1 through 16

Co Pilot says "invalid comm port number" when I type in 17

Im running vista but that should not be a problem seeing as vista sees the comm port.

help!

have you tried to manually install to a com port that datalogit sees?

You can manually change the com port number in Windows.

Email the guy who made the software. My shop guy has been working with him to get the software running and it's usable now. It did the whole bottom part of my map. Still not stable now, but usable.

to change the com port right click on my computer and go to properties>device manager>coms&ports

highlight the usb serial adaptor and right click it and go to properties. then advanced properties and you can change the com port there
