The issue is the physical transfer of weight which cant really be overcome by anything. The change from maddening understeer to hair-raising oversteer is too sudden and unnatural. With so much weight in the front, you don't get the satisfying "center of gravity" feel around a corner as you would in a Miata, 5-series, or 929. Instead, you're just clinging on with as much grip as you can before it breaks loose and turns you into a statistic. Fortunately(?), I now live in a part of the country where there really aren't any curves, but it would still be nice to fly into a highway ramp without flying off of it.

Another thing I love about the Q is the 90-93 badge. As a fan of the "rolling middle finger" design philosophy, I like cars that express themselves without concern for the conformist opinions of others.

The Q stands for all that is raw, powerful, and primal. Tarzan would drive a 1990 Q45.
not in agreement although i have a completely modded suspension and all urathane. i was a statistis in my v8 mustang the q is much more predictable. w/ my setup i have entered many turns w/awd audis and came out far ahed w/o becomming a stat. ask R. Swicki he is an actuary

My favorite thing abot the Q is the power and design, the engine has great performance at highway speeds the Q kick's other cars butt, and look good doing it. Its no sports car but has the heart of a sports car!!!

The car is like a natural born athletic champion with more stamina and power than most. Methodicly skilled ability and extream poise for all who encounter. An otherwise overlooked winner that boast its greatness on the road with extream cockiness and surety, without scaring the competition to not compete by being to obvias of it's ability and value. It can be enjoyed by any and all and is often times the highlighted surprise that makes ones day. Even if you hate this car (for whatever reason, prob. b/c you just lost your title to it) you still got to respect it. It is a masterpiece in it's own right but one that you can make personal touches that much more enjoyable without devalued comprimise. Some cars have a great this or great that and the topic of disscussion is over, not the case with this car, it instills a passion for this generations Automobile and keeps a staple firm. Dear lord thank you for the Q!!!!!!!!

While I was sitting in my 94 yesterday I looked out across the dash and at the expansive passanger area. I believe there is no better looking interior than the G50. All the newer uber cars (S Class, LS430s, A8, 7 series) are busy and confined. They all lack "luxury of space." I love sitting in the Q and the audio is simply superb.

The Q has gobs of legroom (of course, forget the rear passangers---and who cares about them anyway), and good visability. I will always have one. The 94 is that dark blue and it looks very "rich."

What can I say? I love it! I fell in love with these cars the moment I drove one in 92.

I recenlty sold my 93 Q. Sad day but had to make room for my new G35 Sedan. Things I loved about the 93 include:

One of the most beautiful interors ever. Love the way the dash center tilts toward the driver and sweeps into the console. So clean-not so busy as most newer cars.

Classic yet unique styling which still looks great today.

The way the car accelerates from around 70 to around 100. Boy that's fun.

The way the motor looks. No plastic covers like most new cars (G35 included).

Great sound system.

I have to agree with those points. The 70 to 100 is probably my favorite part

I enjoy the legroom I feel when inside the car, also I enjoy just how exact the fit of the steering wheel is in my hands, like the car was made exactly for the individual driver

classic styling, never to be duplicated. Oval door handles, monster engine, athletic suspension and a sheer pleasure to drive everyday. I have driven both a 1990 and still drive a 94 Q45t today as a second car. Everytime I drive another car, they pale in comparison to the Q. Even my 05 Dodge Magnum RT with the Hemi does not come close to the balance and feel of the Q. Haven't driven the new M45 yet, but think that might be the only car that could replace the 94 Q. I plan on keeping the 94Q for as long as I can.

As great as the 06 M45 is, it is a different class car. When I finished my test drive in it I drove home in my 93 with 217K and it felt wonderful. My new 94 is a better highway crusier than the M, it's in the smooth fast comfy class while the M flurts with 911s.

I'll second that. There's no other car I fit better in than a Q. Well, maybe the Jag XJ and Cadillac Seville. But still, the Q fits like a glove.

I think I also like the quality feel of everything about it; the heavy doors that also shut with a solid thunk, chrome heavy door handles, gorgeous interior (not too shabby for a 92 or even now), superior engineering of the engine and intake and exhausts that are so hard to improve upon out of the box, and lastly, NOBODY NOWS WHAT THE HELL IT IS!
