I love the series. I've even got red alert with the mouse for PS. ATM I'm really enjoying Generals. I can't find a thing I dislike about it.

I recently picked up 3 but my integrated graphics is having trouble with it (card on the way). But one thing that bothered me was the buttons. It has always been left click to select and left click to confirm. With this game it is left click to select and RIGHT click to confirm. WTF!?! I don't like it at all. Right click means cancel dammit! I haven't played with it much, but I don't see a way to change it

I wasn't particularly fond of the generals games because of some of the big changes they made to the basic gameplay structure. Resource nodes are a horrible idea. Then EA went on to adapt the stupid things into RA3. Morons.

Hard to say for sure. I like them all. There are missions from them all that I remember fondly. Kane's Wrath is excellent, though. The combination of classic TS feel in the C&C3 engine is excellent, and Kane will always have my allegiance.

You can switch C&C3 back to the classic controls if you don't like the newer ones. I've always preferred the right-click system, though, so I was glad to see C&C finally adopt it.

Like I said, I haven't toyed with it much, but I didn't see where I could change it. Care to enlighten me?

Actually, I was wrong. It turns out it's just Kane's Wrath (the expansion) that has it.

Fortunately I bought the combo that comes with Kanes Wrath. Why would they switch it up?!? That kind of thing makes me not wanna play it because it annoys me so much.

They switched it up because the old left-click system is outdated. The new system is more versatile and has become the standard. I like using both mouse buttons to do more. Relegating the right button to de-select is a waste of a button.

Have you never played a Blizzard RTS before?

No, I'm not really big into CPU gaming. But I do have a decent G Card on the way, might get into it.
