I know alot of you all have a good sense of humor and I am just wondering who is your favorite comedian and if you can explain why.

For me it is a toss up between George Carlin, Richard Pryor, and Eddie Murphy.Unfortunately I can not really explain why I have chose them but to me they have the funniest materials.

I like Dave Attell, from "Insomniac".

The show is only so-so funny, but his CD, "Skanks for the Memories", is the funniest, most offensive thing I've ever heard.

You owe it to yourself to listen to it.

Greg Giraldo comes at a close second though.

Check "Be more Cynical" and "Victory Begins at home" and other priceless pieces. He still tours around the country today for standup at universities and other places.

Heres a list of his appearances http://www.safesearching.com/b...nces/

"People are so defensive, especially women, you know, come on ladies. I offered a girl a tic-tac one time, you know what she said to me? She said, "oh do I need one? is it my breath? do you think I need one?"

I'm like, "I'm just trying to be nice. If I was gonna give you something you need it would be moustache wax and a t-shirt that says one c0ck at a time!""

Yeah, he's the man. Hedberg is great too, David Cross's is amazing as long as he's not too political. Lewis Black is funny as hell as well.

Hmm, Chappelle, Rodney Carrington, Stephen Lynch. If you don't know who Stephen Lynch is, find some of his stuff and listen to it. Great stuff.

I was going to mention him, but I've only seen one of his skits, which was damn funny, but not enough to qualify as a favorite just yet. Actually, I saw the same skit twice, once on the Blue Collar dvd, and the other on his personal dvd. Seeing him do the same jokes twice just in a different order seemed kinda cheesy, but I'm sure all comedians do that.

Jerry Seinfeld should also be mentioned, as I grew up watching his show. (my dad was addicted to it, every thurs night we had to be home)

PS: 151st post! wooo, haha.

You need to see the second DVD to the Blue Color Comedy Tour. He is pretty funny on there but Larry the Cable Guy is ****ing funny.

Let's not forget Robin Williams. Two live videos to look for are "An Evening with Robin Williams" and "Robin Williams, Live at the Met". Two of the funniest stand up acts I have ever seen.

James, we all laugh at you all the time but I don't think your antics qualify you as a professional comedian just yet.
