Im just wondering which one of these cars you like most and why. For the ones with years i just made them up, its not that specific year but body style.

Well out of the ones you have listed I would have to go with the FD. Always has been one of my favorite cars as far as styling goes and they perform great when they are running

I agree that the FD is a great looking car, but I've always loved the nsx, especially if it gets a widebody on it. Plus I love the MR setup and even if it's a little underpowered today, with a supercharger that thing must be crazy to drive.

The Z32, hands down. One of my favorites of all time.

The Z32 (90-96 300ZX) is my favorite car of all time bar none. A close second are the early NSX's. Once you play with a modded TT Z and enjoy the car for all that it is, you'll have to own one.

And for what its worth...I have driven all the cars on your list in both stock and modified conditons.

Out of all the cars, the FD takes the cake. The Fairlady TT is an extremely close second though. A well tuned 13b has a very distinct tone to it that is imediately recognizable. Kinda like a tuned RB26DETT...they just have an awesome sound. Don't much care for sequential turbine set up, but still a monster none the less.

And Jesda...yeah, I have heard of that Levi denim package Gremlin before...not sure where, but I read something on it a while back...Crazy.

Found this with a search on google.com. The following lines were taken from http://www.suite101.com/articl...10559

"This was a design package that initially came with slotted wheels and D70x14 tires, spear-shaped side stripes, blackened grill treatment, decals and trim that set it apart from the lesser run-of-the-mill Gremlins. In 1975 the X-package had an additional option in the now famous Levi’s Custom Trim Package. Seat covers as well as door trim were decked out in a spun nylon imitation of denim, complete with the trademark copper rivets and yellow stitching. The most sought after Gremlins today are those with the Levi’s package and the 304 c.i. V-8 engine."

Still looking for pics though.

Fun factoids:

Chrysler purchased AMC from Renault, retaining the Jeep brand. The new AMC division at Chrysler was renamed Eagle, after the AMC Eagle. The AMC Concord found its way into Chrysler as the new 1993 Chrysler Concorde.

Therefore, AMC continued to indirectly "exist" in name the US market until at least 2003, when DaimlerChrysler finally put the LH platform and the Chrysler Concorde to rest.

It indirectly continues further, as the disc brakes in the Viper came directly from the Eagle Premier, which was discontinued in 1992. If you see a Viper slowing down or braking, think of the Gremlin.

There are two RX-7's in front of my house right now (An FC Turbo II and an FD), neither of them run, so I can't vote for the f|_|c|<ing rotary...

The NSX is THE quintessential Japanese supercar. When it first came out, I think it was Car & Driver called it the best sports car at any price, and more of an accomplishment than the E-type ever was.

If you want more power, get a 550hp all NA C30A from TODA racing. Yeah, it's expensive, but if you don't have the money, you wouldn't have an NSX in the first place.

Spend the 45k on a C6 Corvette, save the extra 45k for a used NSX.

I would rather have a used NSX with $45k in mods than both those cars (NSX and C6) stock any day of the week.

$45k will take an NSX to places most cars won't get to with any amount of money.

Then again, a C6 with $45k in mods would be a helluva thing too (think Ligenfelter), but I don't need a straight-line missile.

As much as I'd like to have a 300zx, the NSX would be probably the only car I'd consider over that. Though an '04 S2000 is tempting.

NA1 = Overpriced and too heavy for the lack of power that it displays. In no way a Ferrari fighter.

JZA80 = My LEAST favorite car to ever come out of Japan. In no way a "sport compact". Weighs as much as a F Body and about as cool in my book. BUT has one of the great drivetrains ever.

Z32 = Meh. Looks never did anything for me and I prefer my Zs to be light and nimble, not heavy and techy. Good car, but not a great one.

GDB STi = Finally we get it! Too bad that it understeers and still dosen't look as good as the GC8.

AP1 = One of the greats. Light, nimble, killer drivetrain, looks awesome and is affordable. Simply PERFECT in every regard. But..

FD3S = Hands down the greatest car to ever come out of Japan yet. There are not words to describe how sublime they are to drive. Sexy, light, well balanced, and stonking fast. Simply perfection.

I love Ferraris, on this poll I went with the Supra because they hold a special place in my heart.lol. They have the curves of a woman and lots of power. I would love a to do a 3rd gear pull in one.
